more about sust.

what we do and how we can help

If you own a small business, you’re probably working all hours, especially at the moment. Like many, you might be keen to find a greater sense of purpose and become more sustainable, but how do you find the time to do this?

Or perhaps you work in the not-for-profit sector, and you know you want to incorporate sustainability into your purpose and way you do things, but you're not quite sure where to start.

This is where sust. comes in.

The meaning of sustainability can be unclear, but for us, it means anything you want, as long as it's about improving things for your people, your community, or our planet. We can help define your sustainability values, reflect them in your business and share them with your customers.

Use us as a fresh pair of eyes to identify small but meaningful changes to have a positive impact on the planet and increase your community influence.  And if you want to go big, that’s no problem either. We are here to help you.

Perhaps you'd like to upskill your people to make sure they understand the basics of sustainability and their impact on the planet through a lunch and learn session?

Customers are making evermore considered choices on where to spend their money.  Maybe an accreditation to advertise your credentials to potential clients is something you’d like to achieve? We can achieve that together.

And don’t forget, you may already be doing several sustainable things without even realising: we can build a plan for you to share your good work in your community and beyond.

If you would like to discuss options with us, please get in touch!

We look forward to hearing from you.

about our founder

Having spent much of her career in the City at an Asset Management firm, our founder, Jo, wanted to use her experience in project management and organising senior executives to support small businesses to move towards a more sustainable future.

One of Jo's responsibilities was to sponsor Corporate Responsibility. She led a significant programme to enhance staff wellbeing, particularly around mental health and stress management.  She also championed a more purposeful office, through simple actions that everyone could participate in, like removing single-use plastic and supporting local charity initiatives.

Jo loves meeting new people and has a passion for all things sustainability. She relishes solving the unsolvable and always looks for positives in situations.  She also speaks fluent French and Spanish.

When she's not working, Jo is a Trustee for Garden House Hospice Care in North Hertfordshire.  She also enjoys exercising, gardening, (watching) football and playing the viola in Hitchin Symphony Orchestra.
